The Ghost Desert Syria: Not Goodbye To All That!

This small painting developed from a sketch I made in Northern Syria in 2011. In 1915 the Turkish Genocide of the Armenian people took place in these hills. I left Turkey this year after a two week visit on the night that Erdogan sent his army over the border to these hills to massacre the Kurds.
