The Illegality of Motiveless Actions

Painted during my M.A. this piece summed up much of what I was working on and thinking about in terms of the action of painting within what seemed to be a predominantly conceptual art world. This work as well as others from the same body of work were shown in my solo exhibition Play |> Pause || in 2008 at The Fishmarket in Northampton.
