The Immortality of Dreams

Made as apart of the Installation 'Birth of the Innocents' in the Hornsey War Memorial, 'The Immortality of Dreams' employs the milk tooth as a symbol of hope. It also alludes to the myth of the dragons teeth which sown in the ground, give rise to a host of fully armed warriors. The teeth become the gravel of the graveyard, the names of the fallen inscribed on the wall of the war memorial. 'The Immortality of Dreams' because all that survives war and is continually renewed are our hopes and dreams.
