The National Film School, IADT, Dun Laoghaire

Printed enamel and glass façade for the National Film School at the Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Dun Laoghaire. Developed in conjunction with ABK Ireland to create a dialogue with the architecture whilst relating to the activities of the building. The façade can be seen clearly from a distance of 15 metres but up close appears to be an abstract series of white dots fronting a concrete box. The design is taken from a composite of stills from 'Man with a Movie Camera' by Dziga Vertov and 'View from the window at Le Gras' by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce.
