The Nursery, Welcome home

The Nursery was also part of the series of site specific installations in St Albans, Hertfordshire, under the umbrella, 'Welcome home'. This installation looked at the relationship between the mother and child within the objective family unit. The cot, pictured, was constructed to reflect the shape of the room, angular and sharp, which in return gave the appearance of awkwardness, cruelty and abandonment.
