The passing from life to death is only a short moment.
Clinically white angular walls and doorways. Dawn chorus. A ghostly figure passes by a narrow gap. The inside seems to become outside. What are walls for a person passing over to death?
In this piece the disorientating view and slightly distorted sound when the figure passes by is reminiscent of the stress that is felt by a dying person, as well as their loved ones.
In spite of the progress of science, death remains the ultimate mystery
The film is a poetical translation of the term 'the passing' into film. It suggests the question 'passing from where to where?' A question which is left unanswered.
