Second in a series of four specific and symbolic landscapes representing each of the four elements. 'The Plough' depicts 'Earth', and is comprised of elements from the ground, including metals and plants. 'Ursa Major' reflected in a beach pool and the Prometheus, 'man of clay' figure, create visual palindromes between the sky and the earth.
