While creating the installation 'The Pulse' I was wondering if one can treat the heart theme as Freud's psychoanalysis, where the heart would be subjected to testing its secret levels: natural base of altruism, one's self defense, or the degree of corruption and imposed stereotyped behaviors.
Heartless existence is, of course, impossible, yet the fact of its creation: the spontaneous union of two cells that spontaneously begin to work still amazes me. The Pulse. The Rhythm. The Hitting...
