Transmission A

I created shallow pools with water and polythene dammed with wood on the vacant ground floor of an office building in Belfast. The reflection of the light on the flooded floor changed constantly during the day and the night. In this way I wanted to explore the connection between the outside and the inside. The heavy weight of the water on the rough textured concrete with polythene sheeting intensified the sense of being here.
