Undercurrent

Etching, from the exhibition Darkness and Light at the Bleddfa Centre, Mid Wales. July 2021 I used this series of etching to explore technique as well as ideas. Here, white on black and black on white alternate to describe the flow of water. Based on drawings of the fast flowing river Ullapool in flood, great branches and clusters of debris were rushing past me as I drew.
