Scottish Year of the Artist
A Polaroid still captured from video footage shows springtails and their moulted skins on sheep dung. The footage was taken during the Scottish Year of the Artist residency at the Scottish Agriculture College at Auchincruive. These tiny animals (1mm long) inhabit rich and complex universes which are not normally visible or known to us yet we are interdependent and their welfare impacts upon our own.
