Using the mobile working kit (MWK) outdoors

By  Sabine Kussmaul 2019 - 2025

I have used string, fabric, paper and wooden sticks to craft modules that I can use outdoors to make drawings and temporary installations. After I have found a location on Bakestonedale Moor where I want to work, I unwind the string from the ‘double-sided bobbin sticks’, to mark areas on the ground. Or, I might use the lining paper to make drawings. All materials that are part of my ‘mobile working kit’ (MWK) need to be transportable. I need to be able to carry them over uneven terrain. They also need to withstand rain, to a certain degree.
