Vernal Pool

An edition of 85 plate lithographs with 20 artist's proofs. Printed, signed and numbered by the artist in 2014 at Blencarn, Cumbria, UK on John Purcell 285gsm mould-made 100% rag paper. Vernal Pools are seasonal areas of wetland which are formed by the winter snow and rain. The pools stay throughout the spring creating different eco-systems. This unique environment provides an important habitat for numerous plants and birds.
