…….waits for no-one reflects on ideas of time through the sound ambiance of its communication in the endless ticking and chiming and cuckooing of clocks. And, meanwhile, the plants grow. Amidst these multitudinous reminders of passing time, the presence of the swing invites the viewer to create their own rhythm through the action of swinging. Whilst it may also suggest memories of happy play in childhood, here, it invites a more mediative time where the viewer, takes time out that is theirs alone.  Supported by Artcore Gallery, Derby
