Walking in Swaledale

By Jenny Bradbury 2019 - 2021

Using a mixture of textiles and mixed media, this backpack represents the rich heritage of Swaledale, North Yorkshire. It symbolises the merging of the historic mining history alongside the present-day attraction of the area to walkers and ramblers.

Walking in Swaledale was awarded second prize in the Creative Quilts category at the Festival of Quilts, 2023
