We are the Weights of the Moon

By  Emma Bolland 2026

Photography James Clarkson

We are the Weights of the Moon is the central artwork in a body of new and developed work produced in reponse to a residency at Wath Hall, a Georgian house alleged to be haunted. The sculpture uses found furniture, solid and ground minerals (selenite, shungite, sodalith, magnetite, tourmaline, howlite), and copper, brass, forged iron, and steel. On the wall behind the sculpture is an accompanying wall drawing.
