Westgate Studios Project Space

During 2011, Westgate Studios Project Space will be latest curatorial project of collaborating artists/curators Alice Bradshaw and Bob Milner. As well as encouraging studio holders to initiate projects in the space, Alice and Bob are curating a series of exhibitions and inviting artists to take up short term residencies. Alice and Bob have previously collaborated on a number of projects since meeting in 2007, all of which have been unfunded. The first project for their residency is Temporary Art Show 3 which is a group exhibition selected from an open call responding to the broad theme of “temporary.” This is the third of a series of Temporary Art Shows that Alice and Bob have co-curated, previously in collaboration with Tom Senior, Georgia Boniface and Kevin Boniface at Bates Mill, Huddersfield in 2008, and secondly as the inaugural exhibition of Temporary Art Space in 2009. Temporary Art Show 3 is in 2 parts taking place on Wednesday 30th March 2011 and Wednesday 25th May 2011.
