What Colour is Tuesday - Institute for the Future of the Mind

2007 - A one year residency at the Institute for the Future of the Mind headed by Baronness Greenfield, exploring the impact of digital technologies on the mind of young people. I worked in one of the labs with the scientists exploring creativity and the mind making work under a microscope using syringes and inks for staining in rat experiments. Anxiety and enrichment of environments were the unexpected outcomes of this project and sharing with advanced skills teachers approahes to letting go of control in order to be creative. I worked with the scientists to devise a set of excercises to demonstrate to teachers how different forms of rational and spontaneous activity changed our ways of being able to process dat or be creative. works on science filter paer and dispay in petri dishes/medical case Lab tape/lab dyes and syringes/latex gloves Experiment with rats and filter paper using various non toxic substances - drawing by eating
