What happens when North meets South?

By Bridget Kennedy 2010

30cm x 60cm x 25cm

Although cool and impersonal at first glance Kennedy's work is concerned with the very human desire to record and remember moments in time. Taking the poetic phrases she heard to describe two opposite ends of Northumberland National Park as a starting point, her work uses simple contrasting factors such as north/south and black/white to present a codifyied depiction of the landscape.
