What Lies Beneath

This piece is part of a triptych of embroidered artworks exploring symbolisms relating to political, economic, and humanity concerns. What Lies Beneath portrays hierarchy and corruption. It also symbolises our 'crumbling' society and how our lives are controlled and deceived by powerful elites. This piece also implies how the roots of humanity are endangered due to the current living crisis and destruction caused by the World’s leaders and how society is spiralling out of control.
