Wilderness and Football Pitch 100 x 188 cms

Edgeland landscapes can be surreal. Often seen from a train outside the beginnings of towns and cities. Waste lands appear their former farmers are evicted while planners work on new housing etc. Nature thinks it can build a wild wood, but sadly it cannot. In the meantime strange features start appearing. In the case of this painting a football pitch, surrounded by new wilderness
