Wind farm (detail)

By  Gillian Brent 2006

Gillian Brent

The sculpture bears a passing resemblance to a group of wind turbines, conveying a sense of movement and energy up in the air. The pieces play on the contradictions that wind farms give rise to: environmental yet man-made, old and new technology, the practical and the quixotic. Dimensions: Four parts 150cm x 375cm x 50cm 60cm x 350cm x 30cm 150cm x 325cm x 35cm 135cm x 400cm x 50cm
