Winter Drawing : Solstice

Selected painting in mixed media for New light Touring Exhibition. Winter Drawing : Solstice is part of a series of works that relate to the notion of structural and atmospheric shift as the seasons change. At solstice everything pauses, hangs immobile, even breathing seems to stop and then we slowly exhale and move on.
