Winter pendants

By Gill Forsbrook 2016
Two pendants. Whilst the materials, making processes and techniques that I choose to use continue to be the main inspiration behind my work, many other things also influence my designs. For example the starting point for these pendants was hand screen printed wallpaper samples, by John Line and Sons Ltd from 1960. The samples reminded me of the landscape of oak trees and reed beds in Snape, Suffolk which I know and have photographed. These elements then became the starting point for the painted components of these pieces.
