Two sculptural objects from my Wood and Thread series.
With the Wood and Thread series I aim to create work which speaks of movement, work where balance is precarious and contact with the ground perhaps provisional; objects which appear to have the potential to take off from the surface on which they stand. I wish for the work, when viewed from different angles, to reveal changing form and shifting relationships, for areas of colour to materialise and varying patterns of light and shadow to emerge.
This work was completed during my Masters Degree in Fine Art.
