Work in Progress / Sketchbooks

My work is timeconsuming to produce. Before I commit myself to a new piece I clarify ideas on paper first. I draw and collage and try to work out construction/ technical issues in sketchbooks. For now I remain compelled by the duplicity of trompe l'oeil wallpaper. At times it serves to manufacture an - unreliable - metaphor, then again it references materiality itself.
