The Wrapped Series questions the traditional application of drawing, blurs the definitions of textiles, sculpture and painting, and raises the conundrum of art vs craft. Tapestry frames are solely covered by threads - their linear form has disappeared, the works have became more like paintings – with large swathes of colours, colours against colours, depth and form; from a distance you can’t tell what the work is made of.
