A Class Apart writing commissions
If class has shaped your life or practice, we would love to hear from you!
Madonna Smoking By Lauren McLaughlin, 2024
Class shapes the arts in many ways. It can open doors or close them. It can shape confidence, opportunity, and the stories we feel able to tell. We want to hear from you about how class has shaped your life, your practice, and your place in the arts.
We are inviting short written pieces of up to 500 words. We will select three members to receive £150 each and have their work published on our website in 2026. We will also select extracts from a further three to five members for publication, with a fee of £50 for each quotation used.
