DRAWING CLUB: DRAPERY

Find some fabric, it could be an old blanket or a shirt, and set it up near where you will be drawing. I will be using dark grey and white gouache paint to draw with. We’ll have a look at how other artists have painted and drawn drapery and ways to capture folds in fabric, underlying forms, and tension points.

Drop-in and draw with us for an hour! We draw together during these sessions, some members arrive ready with their own ideas, and I always start the session introducing a technique, or a subject that you can follow along with, if you choose.
