We are Axis, an independent charity supporting contemporary visual artists.
We are funded by our members, earned income and donations, and we reinvest directly into artists and their work.
How membership works
Axis is built on membership, a shared commitment to supporting artists.
When you join, you access support and help make it possible for other artists too.
What we offer
We support artists through:
- Funding and opportunities
- Visibility and context for your work
- Connection to peers, curators and audiences
- Practical support, including insurance, advice and resources
What we stand for
