I am intrigued in spaces and place around me the stories they tell and how we read them as a form of spatial text. I enjoy researching the apparent uninteresting or unsaid, which through further investigation reveal social political, and spatial narratives which are defined & redefined through history. In the past I have examined spaces by using the conventions of documentary filmmaking, focusing in on details from the everyday. Through video installation I use these details to reconstruct an uncanny spatial narrative, which explores a history and social politic that never quite fully reveals itself.
