Sasha Ward

Marlborough

I have been working in the field of architectural glass since setting up my studio in 1985. My practice has extended from a specialism in enamelled glass to the design of complete interiors using a variety of materials to construct or cover walls, floors, ceilings and screens. I have completed over seventy commissions for public buildings throughout Britain, collaborating with glass manufacturers and other design professionals when necessary. Conversations with the people who commission my work, or who use the buildings where it is sited, have always played an important part in my design process. Many of the projects I have undertaken have included practical workshops or linked teaching sessions, resulting in collaborative windows made with the users of a wide variety of educational and health care settings.
