Juliet Ferguson is a London-based photographer and journalist. She works part-time as reporter for the co-operative Investigate Europe, sharing her days with the Centre for Investigative Journalism where she is a programme manager.

Her work as a journalist informs much of her photography, particularly around how technology shapes our relationships with the environment and with each other.

Through a restrained, observational approach, she creates a visual record of places where technological ambition meets everyday landscapes with an emphasis on scale, repetition, and the often-overlooked spaces at the edges of cities.

In parallel, her abstract work explores texture, pattern, and form, often drawing inspiration from the materials and structures she encounters in the field. These images move away from documentary representation, offering a more interpretive response to the environment.

Together, her writing and photography form a cohesive practice that connects research, visual storytelling, and abstraction to explore how hidden systems shape the world around us.

She has a PgCert in Photography from Central Saint Martins School of Art (2011)and has a PgDip in Art and Cultural studies from the University of Brighton (2016).
