Concepts My current practice is prominently mixed media and installation with a focus on using textiles, text, photography, projection and utilizing found objects. Previous works have been site specific and gallery based viewing domesticity, in particular the working class and issues within a dysfunctional family unit. My installations also address the notion of presence, time and memories, my own and observed others. Influences I am influenced by subject matters relating to the individual. The way society is affected by current media culture, youth and popular culture, how this is then transcribed. How the individual acknowledges certain issues, and interprets them, physically, verbally or visually. I am also interested in the historical background of an object used within my work: where it came from and where it was found Career path Qualifications: MA, Distinction, Design and Media Arts, University of Westminster, Harrow, London BA Hons, Middlesex University, Cathill, Cockfosters, Hertfordshire Areas of work: Early years education Primary education Secondary education Adult education Community arts Exhibiting Lecturing Residencies Fundraising Workshops Special needs
