I'm a multi media artist who explores psychological issues such as flash backs and nightmares ‘haunting’ and the activation of memory. My art practice looks at a wide array of artistic relationships to memory association, repetition and reappearance of negative patterns, as well as forms of ‘active’ forgetting.
My art practice is experiential, experimental and reflective. Taboo subjects are often explored in narratives through playfulness and dark humour. I use found objects, photography, film, traditional art media as well as contemporary. People, environments, psycho geographic work, site specific, installation all fits in my interest of relational dynamics. Further I am a state Registered Art Psychotherapist experienced in Hospice care, Mental health, Paediatrics and Education.
