Graeme Reed

Ashbourne
Artist & Printmaker working out of the East Midlands.

Graeme Reed is a UK-based artist and printmaker whose work engages viewers with its balance of humour, critique, and historical homage, exploring concepts such as belonging, self-perception, and social identity.

A recent project called ‘Things Fall Apart’ reflects on ideas about collapse & disintegration, whether that be physical, social, or psychological.

His surreal, and immersive environments are often inhabited by lone, fragile characters that seem to blur the boundaries between self and space. They convey a sense of both beauty and dissolution.

Having studied Fine Art Printmaking at Chelsea School of Art, his recent work has been showcased widely including mixed exhibitions such as the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, RBSA Gallery, and Ty Pawb Print International.
