Ian Scott Massie

Masham
Watercolour artist, screen print maker, art tutor. Mt main preoccupation is portraying the personality of the landscape.

My work is primarily focused on exploring the personality of places through memory, history, legend and experience. I seek out places people are drawn to - places of pilgrinage, places where artists, writers and musicians have worked, places that appear to be a magnet for stories. I paint, print and write about these places, ofetn in multiple pieces of work.
