Merthyr Tydfil
I am a figurative painter, my practice revolves around connection and response. My studio is currently at home. I am also a founding member of Non Place Collective; an artist/curator collaboration.

My practice is concerned with creating expressive figurative paintings that navigate the boundary between figuration and abstraction through gestural brushstrokes. By using household furnishings in place of traditional canvases, each piece gains deeper significance. The transposition of everyday linens serves as a familiar starting point for personal narratives, inviting the audience to unravel motifs that evoke shared experiences.

Recently, my work has evolved in response to events that deeply impact our daily lives, reflecting the themes of anxiety, rage, and anger that define our current zeitgeist.

In 2018, I co-founded the Non Place Collective with three other artists. As artist-curators, we have collaborated with various artists, curating exhibitions in Cardiff, Bath, and Glasgow.

I have exhibited my paintings in both group and solo shows. My involvement with local Artist Community and Non Place Collective has provided opportunities for ongoing collaborative projects.
