Rebecca Halliwell-Sutton

Manchester
Rebecca’s work takes the form of sculpture, photography, writing and curating, making use of the transformative properties of materials.

" My research spans many points in time and geography, eventually the meaning of the work dissolves into the making of it and ultimately questions how sculpture can embody and invoke feeling."

Rebecca Halliwell-Sutton (b.Bolton) lives and works between London & Manchester. Rebecca graduated from the Royal Academy Schools programme (2018-2022) winning the Patricia Turner Sculpture Prize. Rebecca previously studied at Manchester School of Art (2016), completed a short course on Feminism and Contemporary Art at Middlesex University (2016), and won the 2016 Woon Prize Foundation Fellowship with Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art
