37 Mapesbury Road

37 Mapesbury Road is an Edwardian House in London NW2 and the birthplace of the neurologist Oliver Sacks. Today it is the home of the British Psychotherapy Foundation (BPF). It was the BPF who were interested in my idea of drawing the house and capturing aspects of the interior and exterior. In 2015 I visited the house on several occasions to make drawings and take photographs and these drawings and prints were shown in a curated exhibition at the house. Some of the drawings were intended to show the therapy work at the house through the objects and furniture arranged there as well as a document of the house and its grounds.
