5 Landmarks 5 Signs Cogenhoe

One of five signs at five locations along the Nene Valley Way Northamptonshire (Northampton to Peterborough) and the works resulted from ACE Photo Arts Bursary and Development funding. Each work is based on local perception of social 'landmarks' resulting from negotiation with inhabitants of each village location. Location photography was carried out during 2002/03 and the resulting photo montages were converted through digital processes into signs that were located at relevant social sites in each village.
