Dimensions
using whole lift space

This piece was made for a show as part of Minato-ku council art event called 'Marugoto Museum' at Ginza Okuno Builddng. I tried to trace the memory of original 7 train stations from Shiodome to Yokohama which well known as first railway in Japan in Oct 1872. Using all stages of the building which was also 7 floors as same as the stations, and placed a photo I took from my journey at doorway of the lift. Therefor every floor when visitor use the old styled lift, they cross a station and lift up or down to next floor which I wanted to address and interact with the history and journey used to be. At the ground floor, I also placed all materials I found for this projects as introduction of the demonstration.
