National Museum of the Royal Navy, Portsmouth Historic Dockyards 15 Nov 2016 – 29 Jan 2017 The culmination of a three-year tenure as inaugural artist in residence at the museum, the exhibition showcases work in laser cutting and digital media, including wall reliefs, steel sculptures, fabric designs, 3D printed costume and body sculpture. Inspired by artefacts and images from the collection, the work explores the experiences of going to war; from survival and courage in hostile environments to the troubles of exploitation and the burden of guilt.
