A tribute to the poet Edward Thomas

I was asked to make work for display at The Petersfield Museum in April 2017 as part of a series of events curated by Hampshire Cultural Trust to mark the centenary of the death of the poet Edward Thomas at the Battle of Arras. I have taken 3 of the poems Thomas wrote about the specific landscape of the Hampshire Hangers where I live and walk daily as my starting point for the installation. The work will use found objects from my walks as well as photographic material and maps.
