A mixed media light box piece is based on the pages of a found ledger book dated 1938. The margins were full of numbers and letters which mean little now but had a past significance. The layering of script has the effect of further obscuring the meaning - a ghost of information. The stitching and the buttons represents an era of "make do and mend" and the pressed flowers (found between pages of the book)make reference to the Victorian "language of flowers".
