The seed is the beginning and the end, the origin and the completion of the whole. An archetype for the whole cycle of life and and death. The journey of the seed to its final form is a symbol for the journey of the soul. The Oak represents mighty power, from its huge botanical structure to strength of the wood itself. It is often called the king of trees, not just due to its size but its ability to survive environmental change. Now however, human activities are taking a toll on these magnificent trees.
