Acorn Lamp, part of the Denny Treasure Trail, 2018; stainless steel and oak. Commissioned by Falkirk Council as part of the £7.6m regeneration project in the centre of Denny, Falkirk, Scotland. The sculpture references mining lamps and coal wagons, the octagonal-roofed bank that used to stand on this site and with the acorn, the oak that grows in plenty in Denny and Dunipace along the River Carron, a symbol of growth and renewal.
