After Pluto Four

After Pluto follows the Arms Plutonic series, and continues to explore Persephone’s ambiguous relationship with Pluto, another topic in my work. Number Four is a reversal in some respects and a cooler version of Three. This painting is part of continuing work that plays with the paradoxical practice of visualising the impossible which painting reveals. It dissolves the familiar narrative, the solidified metaphor, opening up other meanings and feelings.
