Evidence Eight

The Evidence is the paint; the mise en abyme will be in the perception of the viewer. The Evidence series is a development from the Mysteries and the Realities Series and has now clearly curved back into allusions to “False Doors”. An incidental intention was to arrive at almost the same colour in different parts though use of different pigments and to see how they might change. When watching and waiting for paint to dry, an indeterminate amount of time is needed, perhaps years. Oil paint on deep canvas
