Alice in Vesalius I

By Lisa Temple-Cox 2014
A pair of linked pages made using drawing with archival sepia ink and process white gouache over layers of glue-based photo-transfer (transfert-collé). Part of a series of works exploring the Fabrica of Vesalius using Tenniel's illustrations of Alice in Wonderland as a metaphorical guide, in collaboration with art historian Glenn Harcourt.
